Cheese Muffins

1 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 TBS sugar
1 TBS baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 c shredded Colby-Jack cheese
1 c milk
1 egg
1/4 c (1/2 stick) margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 375F. Whisk dry ingredients together and then stir in cheese. In a separate bowl whisk egg, milk and margarine together. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir with a spoon to combine. Bake in a greased muffin pan (makes 12) for 20-25 minutes.
